Q: Who is Beazley?

A: Beazley offers a suite of gap protection products that helps protect employees against life's uncertainties. Insurance is underwritten by Beazley Insurance Company, Inc., rated A by A.M. Best. Q: Why are gap protection products and why are they needed?

A: Gap protection products help offset expenses, protect assets, fill gaps or replace income - just when it is needed most. An unexpected life crisis - a critical illness, accident, disabling injury, or uncovered medical expenses - could put your income and assets at risk. Your employer makes it easy for you to access insurance products to address the unexpected and fill financial gaps. Benefits and range of options may vary by state. Premium will vary based on plan chosen. A waiting period for late entrants may apply. Policies are renewable at the option of the company. Pre-existing condition limitations apply. Q: How do I access the Employee Portal?

A: Go to and click on Insured Registration. This will enable you to register with Beazley and to create a username and password for access to our Employee Portal. To do so, you will need a Group number (from your employer) as well as your own Social Security number (last four digits), birthday and zip code. If you need assistance, contact 1-877-503-7064.

Q: Once I am registered, what can I do on the Employee Portal?

A: On the portal, you will be able to view your coverage details, retrieve important documents and access materials and forms from our Resource Center.

Q: How do I find out about my coverages?

A: To view coverages, go to the Coverages section of the Employee Portal. There, you can view an overview of your coverages with Beazley, as well as a detailed Schedule of Benefits. The first time you access the Employee portal, you will retrieve your Certificate of Coverage from the eDelivery section of the Employee Portal. Print this important legal document and keep it on file as proof of your coverage.

Q: What if I need to change, add or delete coverages?

A: To make a change in your coverages, such as adding a family member (if eligible), or discontinue coverage, or change coverage amounts, please contact your employer to determine if, when and how to make changes.

Q: How do I file a claim?

A: To file a Claim, go to the Resource Center section of the Employee Portal. There, you can download claim form with instructions for filing. To fax a claim, submit to 1-813-289-7937. To check the status of a claim, or a view your claim history, go to the Claims section of the Employee portal. There, you can view details about claims that are being processed or have been paid. If you have questions about a claim, contact 1-877-503-7064.

Q: Where do I go to find product information?

A: To access marketing materials, forms and other public tools, go to the Resource Center section of the Employee Portal. There, you can access product information, claim forms, and other important information. Note: The Resources Center includes general information about Beazley and our products. If you are looking for plan-specific information, go to the Coverages section (to view your coverages) or the eDelivery section (to access plan documents).

The Critical Illness plan is a limited policy. The Critical Illness product is filed as a Non-Participating Specified Disease in North Carolina. The Portability benefit is filed as Continuation of Coverage in Oregon.

The Supplemental Medical Expense (out-of-pocket) plan is not a major medical plan and is not intended to cover medical expenses. This product is available if an employer has a major medical plan in place.
